Rockland Farms started at 8,000 birds, with dedication and hard work, the farm has grown to a capacity of 120,000 birds, providing a ready market for products of other farmers, women and youth. Rockland Meat is into the production, processing, and distribution of locally produced chicken.
Social Impact
Rockland undertakes several initiatives to create social impact and improve livelihoods, especially for women, young adults, and vulnerable groups. The company provides free eggs every other week to pupils in its local community of Ankamadoa. It provides skills development to institutions like the Ghana Prisons Service to facilitate community reintegration. Rockland Farms also partners with development organizations to provide mentoring and business start-up support to young graduates, especially female entrepreneurs interested in the poultry business.
